Summary
Raisin DAO is a proposed sub-DAO of Developer DAO and subsidiary of Raisin Labs (@Raisin_Labs). With the cutting-edge modular fundraising stack offered by Raisin Labs, Raisin DAO will own, maintain, and operate its own fundraising platform as a service to compete with the other fundraising monoliths in web2 and web3.
Motivation
Developer DAO will be able to assist with marketing & sales, which is the only remaining barrier to market entry. This proposal is valuable to Developer DAO because it generates much needed revenue for the treasury through a mutually beneficial operating structure.
Scope of Work
Domain of Operations & Team
All the following are members of Developer DAO currently contributing to the Raisin ecosystem:
Patrick Skinner, Tony Kipkemboi, Technoking, Protocol Whisperer, HayoMayo, Saugardev, Billyjitsu.
If accepted by the individual, each contributor (including additions hereafter) will be assigned roles based on experience and expertise in Raisin DAO.
OKRs
Raisin DAO has three simple goals: be self-sufficient, reach MVP, & compete with the best.
Budget Request (Including value returned to the DAO)
There is no USDC budget being requested from Developer DAO, only assistance with sales & marketing. Only governance assets are requested: 5000 code / month to the Raisin DAO treasury. In return, Developer DAO receives 10% of profits made by Raisin DAO.
edit 1: expanding on D_D expectations – When Raisin DAO has funding rounds, Developer DAO would be expected to pitch the round to partners in the same sense that someone might ask for donations on platforms like Gitcoin. Otherwise, I’m specifically looking for promotion on social media & leveraging the brand to gain a wider reach for the Raisin DAO fundraising platform.
